In the first two videos, we explored how to create personalized content and how to implement it in your classroom. This third piece brings it all together—not just with tools or techniques, but with a mindset shift that can help you become an indispensable educator on your campus.
Why This Mindset Shift Matters
Too often, educators are told what tools to use without the support to understand why or how. But lasting transformation doesn’t come from copying strategies—it comes from building the confidence to explore, iterate, and systematize what works for you. This post is about helping you become the kind of teacher students love learning from—and that schools rely on.
Three Ways to Frame Your Mindset Around Tech-Infused Pedagogy:
I) Start with Relevance
First, we all need to remember that our students live in a curated, custom world—from Spotify playlists to monogrammed water bottles. When our lessons reflect their interests and identities, they’ll feel seen—and that changes everything.
✅ You don’t need a new lesson for every student. Just one personalized element can help them feel like the class is for them.
II) Turn Your Classroom into a Lab
Great teaching isn’t perfect. It’s iterative. Test, reflect, and be transparent with your students when things don’t go as planned. You’ll build trust and model the growth mindset we want students to have.
🔪 Try out new tools behind the scenes before going live with them in class—just like this video was made using a tool I’d never used before.
III) Systematize What Works
Don’t chase every new app. Choose a couple that fit your style and go deep. Repetition builds confidence—for both you and your students.
